Mission
Our mission is to be a warm, welcoming community synagogue for Jews in all life stages and from diverse backgrounds. We strive to develop each individual and family in a Torah-rich and growth oriented environment.
Vision
We aspire to connect to Hashem through Torah study, spiritual connection, and middos tovos. We strive to provide religious, educational and social programs to meet the needs of our membership, and to inspire a desire for the study and practice of Torah in our own lives and in the broader community.
Values
We are a small Orthodox synagogue with a highly diverse community where "everyone knows your name" and where each individual makes a difference. Ashkenazim Sepharadim, Black Hat, Tzioni, Israeli... we come from all backgrounds and walks of life. We each have a role to play in our community and in Klal Yisroel.
Our History
An oasis of Jewish life in Central New Jersey, Congregation Toras Emes has enjoyed a renowned presence in Twin Rivers for the last 30 years. The shul was founded by Shalom Torah Centers as a natural outgrowth of a burgeoning Jewish community.
